Replacing Door Locks on an Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 8V, MK 3 - Years 2012-2019

Let's see how to remove the door lock from an Audi A3. Remove the cover of the internal handle, unscrew the screws in the upper lever space of the door opening and the screws present in the handle. Unscrew any remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Pull the panel off by hand and unclip it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable). Remove the protective covering from above the door (unscrew the retaining screws). Locate the lock inside the door and unscrew the retaining screws on the side, disconnect the electrical connectors, then remove the entire kit from inside the door.
