Audi A4 - Video tutorial

Model: Audi A4 B8 - Years 2007-2016
Part: Crankshaft RPM sensor
Operation: Camshaft sensor replacement on Audi A4

In this short video that you can observe the replacement of the sensor on the camshaft is shown. Camshaft sensor codes suitable for this vehicle are P0341 and P0343. Raise the hood and access the engine, where you can easily see the camshaft sensor well identified in the video as well. It is fixed by torx t30 which you will obviously have to unscrew. So disconnect the sensor and connect the new one you purchased, then connect it and that's it. Remember that the sensor has the purpose of detecting the number of revolutions of the engine and that is why it is fixed on the camshaft.

First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
