How to replace the key battery of an Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 MK 3, 8V - Years 2012-2019
Part: Key

Let's start by pressing the button on the top back of the key. By doing so we will be able to release the section of the key located at the top, which we will remove. Completed this step we will press and in the meantime we will extract the button that we discovered after removing the upper part. Once this is done, we will be able to extract the battery housing and the key battery itself. At this point, we will remove the exhausted battery (battery code in case you need it: CR2032), and install the new battery. At the end of this step, all we have to do is re-insert the battery seat in its previous position, and then insert the upper section later, and we will be finished.
