Headlight Height Adjustment for Audi A4

If your vehicle is equipped with an automatic headlight leveling system, you can check the correct position of the headlights using a diagnostic tool like VCDS. Each time you start the vehicle, the control unit performs a check of the headlight position by moving them from low to high, testing the full range of adjustment. If you connect your diagnostic system to the OBD2 port, you can run a check on the control unit to further verify the correct positioning. After that, turn off the ignition and turn it back on, and at that point, the system will have been fully tested.
