In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the timing belt on an Audi A3 by following a few simple steps that will guide you towards proper vehicle maintenance. The first thing you need to do is lift the bonnet and secure it with the appropriate prop; the next step is to raise the car with a hydraulic jack and secure it with appropriate axle stands. Pull the tensioner pulley sideways using a 16 mm spanner; at this point, you need to remove the V-belt. Return the tensioner pulley to its initial position. Check the condition and replace any worn parts if necessary; now you can install the new belt.
