How to Remove the High-Pressure Fuel Pump from the Audi A3 8v

This guide shows how to replace the high-pressure fuel pump of the Audi A3 8v TFSI. The first step is to secure the vehicle and then open the engine compartment. Place rags under the pump, located on the right side of the compartment, and disconnect the hydraulic hose by acting on the metal clip. Remove the 17 mm nut from the hose at the bottom of the pump and the two bolts that hold the pump in place. Remove the sensor from the top of the pump, rotate it counterclockwise, and extract it; some fuel may spill from the lower hose. Replace the pump and reassemble everything in position. Start the vehicle to check the correct operation of the pump.
