There are different versions of the vehicle's light switch, and they fundamentally differ based on the trim level: it depends on whether the vehicle has fog lights, etc. In particular, the most common versions are three, and each requires a specific sequence of movements to be removed from its housing: you need to rotate the knob, press it to release the locking clips, and then pull it outward.

Execute the sequence carefully to avoid irreparably damaging the button while trying to simulate the movements in the correct order.
