Brake Pad Replacement

Model: Audi A6 MK 3, C6 - Years 2004-2012
Part: Brake pads

The following guide outlines a simple and useful method to replace the brake pads on your car, with a bit of free time and patience. First, remove the tire from the vehicle, then lift the car with a jack, loosen the bolts, and take off the tire. You can then start disassembling the pads by removing the retaining clip and the small pin that fits into the caliper. The caliper without the clip is the outer one, and it can be easily removed, while the one with the clip is inserted into the piston. There is only one correct way to install the pads.
