To replace the heater core in an Audi A4, you need to remove the entire dashboard from both the passenger and driver sides. Once the screws securing the glove compartment and the plastic covering the steering column are removed, you can proceed to take off the plastics surrounding the radio and climate control. This way, these devices can be removed along with the upper part of the dashboard, giving access to the underlying components. Here, you will find the heater core, which can be freed from its hoses and connectors, replacing it with a new replacement part.
