To replace the heat exchanger on an Audi A3, open the glove compartment on the passenger side to remove the screws inside and fully detach the compartment. This will allow access to the components within the dashboard, particularly those located behind the central panel.

The heat exchanger will be present here and must be extracted from its housing by disconnecting all the pipes. Once removed, insert the new one, connecting it properly and reinstalling all the removed components.
