In this tutorial, you will learn how to replace the serpentine belt tensioner on an Audi A4. This operation is very simple and quick. To do this, you will need an 18mm wrench and a 13mm wrench. First, wait for the engine to be completely cool, then open the hood, grasp the tensioner with the 18mm wrench, and push it to the right to release the belt. Next, remove the engine cover, unscrew the 3 bolts securing the tensioner, and remove it from its mount. At this point, you can install the replacement part and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
