Let's see how to replace the timing belt on an Audi A4. Let's open the bonnet and lift it, let's secure it with the dipstick. We disassemble the front bumper (if we have space problems to intervene), disconnect the power cables with pliers, remove the plastic soundproofing panel with a screwdriver. We lift the car with a column bridge to intervene in the lower part of the same (if necessary). With a fixed wrench we go to loosen the belt tensioner roller and remove the belt from its seat. With a socket wrench we go to unscrew the tightening pin of the belt tensioner roller, remove the water pump. We assemble the new water pump, the belt tensioner and the belt itself, we tighten everything with the socket wrench. Finally we mount the radiator with the locking pins.

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
