How to Disable the Mirror Folding Function on the Audi Q3

In this video, learn how to disable the folding of the exterior mirrors. This function can be particularly useful in winter when the outside temperature is low and ice can cause the mirror motor to burn out from the unnecessary effort to open them. It's better to leave them open to avoid this situation. The display does not show how to disable this function. So, how do you do it? There is a method: turn on the ignition, rotate the knob on the driver’s side handle to the six o'clock position. If you do this with the ignition off, you will see that the mirrors do not fold out, even if you lock the vehicle with the remote. This is your winter configuration. To return to the original setting, turn on the ignition and turn the knob back to the six o'clock position.
