Instructions for Replacing Spark Plugs

Model: Audi A6 MK 1, C4 - Years 1994-1997

It is recommended to perform this maintenance with the engine cold to handle the spark plugs without risking burns; once you open the hood, locate the cover on top of the engine under which the ignition coils and boots are attached; then, unscrew the cover's fastening screws and remove it along with the boots; before unscrewing the spark plugs, blow into their respective sockets to remove any dirt residue and unscrew the plugs, then install the new ones without exceeding the torque specifications; finally, reposition the cover with the boots.
