How to Replace the Engine Air Filter

Model: Audi A6 C4, MK 1 - Years 1994-1997
Part: Air filter

Open the hood of the vehicle. Using a screwdriver, loosen the clamp that secures the air hose to the filter box. Disconnect the electrical supply and unlock the cover of the filter housing by acting on the three locking mechanisms. Remove the cover and pull out the old filter from its position. Insert the new filter in the same position and reattach the cover. Reconnect the air hose and the electrical supply. Close the hood. The maintenance operations shown in the images are performed on an Audi A6.
