Then, locate the seat mounting bolts, which are usually located on the seat track near the floor. Use a screwdriver or Allen key to unscrew and remove the bolts. Once the bolts are removed, tilt the seat backwards to access the electrical connectors and seat connections. Disconnect the connectors and electrical connections carefully, being mindful not to damage the wires. With the connectors disconnected, lift the seat off the track and remove it from the car. Be sure to pay attention to details during removal and keep track of the components and bolts for easy reassembly. Once the seat is removed, you can proceed with any necessary repairs or modifications.
