How to Replace the Window Switch on an Audi A4

Model: Audi A4 B7 - Years 2004-2008
Part: Window switch

Open the door that requires the switch replacement and remove the small panel located in the middle of the armrest. This will give you access to the screw that needs to be removed. Next, take off the chrome bracket located just above the handle by removing the screws at the back. Now, gently pull the panel towards you to extract it. Disconnect the connectors attached to the back of the door. You will now work directly on the back of the panel by unscrewing the screws that hold the window controls. You can then remove the armrest, disassemble the controls, and replace them.
