In this video we see how to anticipate the problem of an EGR valve breaking on an Audi A4 diesel, due to the use that can be made of it on short journeys. Unfortunately in these cases we see that the small radiator in front of the EGR valve becomes completely clogged with carbon residues, so that no more air passes through the radiator, the valve breaks and it is necessary to replace it as a whole, with a significant cost (just the valve costs about 240 euros, not including labor). To prevent this problem, it is a good idea to periodically clean the valve radiator, so that it can always breathe and avoid breakage.
