This article explains how to remove the rear bumper of the Audi A4 B8 for repair or replacement. First, remove the plastic covers located in the trunk, then take off the cover.

Next, remove the plastic covers. Once the covers are off, remove the fastening pins using a 10 mm socket wrench.

After that, use a Torx T25 wrench to remove the screws located by the rear wheel wells. Then, remove the 3 screws located underneath the bumper, also with the Torx T25 wrench, and take out the plastic clips located underneath the bumper.

At this point, remove the taillights and then remove the bumper fastening pin using a flathead screwdriver. Finally, remove the bumper and disconnect the connectors.
