To reset the service light on the BMW S1000 XR, lift the seat by unscrewing its bolts and completely removing it from its housing. Once the seat is detached, you will have access to the components underneath. After this is removed, locate the vehicle's OBD port, to which you will need to connect a diagnostic tool. Simply follow the instructions shown in the video to reset the light. Once reset, disconnect the diagnostic tool and reposition the seat.
