Today's procedure will show you how to remove and replace the fuel tank of the BMW R1200 GS motorcycle in simple steps. First, place the motorcycle on the centre stand and begin by removing the rider's seat; then unscrew all the screws securing the plastic cover of the fuel tank, as shown in the video.

At this point, remove and replace the fuel pump if necessary, then take out the fuel tank; replace it if necessary, applying the reverse procedure for reassembling the tank!
