Do you want to replace the shift knob on your BMW 3 Series? Let's see how to do it. First, grab the knob with both hands and pull it upward. Next, detach the leather boot cover from the edge of the center console using a plastic trim tool. To install: take the boot and slide it onto the rod on the center console (if the boot is damaged, replace it with a new one), then, slide on the new knob and twist it until it locks into place. Finally, attach the clips of the leather boot onto the center console.

How to remove the front shock absorber on a Peugeot 406? The first step is to lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts (engine bay), lift the car on a column lift and remove the front wheel. Unscrew the shock absorber mounting bolts at the wheel hub (detach the brake line clips with a screwdriver). Unscrew the bolts on the side, then remove the shock absorber from its housing (place a support under the bar). Compare the old part with the new one and prepare for installation.
