Let's see how to replace the gas springs on the tailgate of a BMW 3 Series. Very simple operation we follow the disassembly: lift the tailgate of the luggage compartment and put it in safety, with a screwdriver we release the metal clips that block the gas springs. We release the springs at both ends, detach the worn piston and mount the new piece. We put the piston in safety with the metal clips. We proceed in the same way for the disassembly / assembly of the twin piston. Finally we reassemble and test the gas springs by opening and closing the tailgate.

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter.
