In this guide, follow the instructions to remove and replace the trunk lid of the BMW 3 Series. First, open the trunk lid and start by removing the side plastic covers and the trunk lid panel by prying at the edges. Next, remove the wiper motor and disconnect the electrical connectors for the license plate bulbs. At this point, use a Torx screwdriver to remove the screws from the trunk lid to take it off; replace it with the new one and reassemble everything!
