How do you replace the SOS battery in the BMW 3 Series?

To replace the SOS battery of the BMW 3 Series, you need to pry with an object to detach the cover in the rear of the car ceiling: once this cover has been removed, you will be able to locate the underlying SOS battery. The latter must be freed from the appropriate screws so that its connectors can also be disconnected: at this point, it will be possible to insert the new replacement part so that it is fixed and connected. After installation, you can cover everything with the panel, verifying that the operation is correct.
