Unlike many other models that have the diagnostic port alongside the fuse box, BMW has designed a specific location for this component in this version.

It is located in the front driver's door pillar.

Here you will find a small cover that can be removed by applying pressure to the corner of the pillar; remove the protective cover and you will find the diagnostic port.
