How to reset the service light of the 2020 BMW 5 Series

The service light comes on in a vehicle when it is necessary to perform maintenance, once the maintenance and vehicle check steps have been completed, we can proceed with resetting the light. To reset the service light on a 2020 BMW 5 Series car, we must press the brake pedal and turn the instrument panel on and off three times in a row. After completing this first step, we keep the instrument panel on and press the "Trip A" button, located on the left side of the panel, to access the maintenance menu. We release the button when we are inside the service menu and then press the button again until the reset is complete. We complete the procedure by restarting the instrument panel.
