Following these short and simple instructions, we will see how to open the hood of the BMW 1 Series. First, open the front door of the car, driver's side, and start pulling the hood release lever, located at the bottom near the pillar; then move to the front part of the hood to lift and open it, as shown in the video. At this point, raise the hood to a certain height, held by the hydraulic struts (or by fixing the rod if present); finally, lower the hood to close it again, letting it drop from a certain height.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
