How to Remove the Engine Air Filter on a BMW

Follow this guide to remove the engine air filter on a BMW: Open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Open the air intake kit (using the appropriate plastic clips), remove the panel from the filter housing, and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing, ensuring it fits snugly against the walls. Finally, reattach the air housing panel and secure it with the appropriate clips. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
