How to Replace the Air Filter on a BMW 1 Series

Let's see how to replace the engine air filter on a BMW 1 Series: open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then open the air kit (release the securing clips), remove the cap of the filter box and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the walls). Finally, reassemble the air box cap and close the clips. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
