Watch this video to learn how to disassemble and remove the settings adjustment knob located on the center console trim of a BMW X5. Gather a plastic trim tool; remove the center console trim (as shown in the video). Next, use a screwdriver to remove the screws securing the plastic bar that includes the button, then disconnect the power connectors underneath the button. Finally, install the new button kit on the center console as previously disassembled. Test the button's functionality at the end of the installation.
