Replacement of Windshield Wiper Blades

Model: BMW Serie 3 E36 - Years 1990-2001

Before proceeding with the replacement of the wiper blades, ensure that the new ones are the correct length!
For traditional wiper blades, lift the wiper control arm, rotate the wiper arm 90°, and after releasing the fastening tab, pull it downward to remove it from the arm.
Then check which of the fastening clips included with the new blades is compatible with the one just removed and apply it in the designated slot of the new blade arm.
Next, pass the arm through the designated hole on the arm until it surpasses the fastening clip, which will then be attached to the arm itself through the tab.
If the blade is of the so-called flat type, it is generally attached to the arm with a sliding system: simply press the fastening tabs and slide the blade forward to detach it.
Additionally, it is possible to replace traditional blades with flat ones using a special fastening system that makes them interchangeable.
Another system involves securing the arm to the shaft with a safety latch: simply release the latch to remove the arm.
