If the brush is of the so-called flat type, it is generally hooked to the rod with a sliding system: in fact, it is enough to press the fixing tabs and slide the brush forward to release it. It is also possible to replace the traditional brushes with the flat ones through a special fixing system that makes them interchangeable. Yet another system involves fixing the bow to the rod through a safety catch: just unhook the safety to extract the bow.
