Today we will explain how to reset the paint warning light on a BMW X3 vehicle. To reset the warning light, we need to turn on and off the instrument panel three times in quick succession. We wait for the message "diagnostic mode" to appear on the instrument panel display. Press the Trip button on the right side of the instrument panel and select the option related to engine oil change. Hold down the button until the reset is complete. Restart the instrument panel to complete the reset operation; if the reset is not successful, it will be necessary to go to the workshop for a computerized diagnosis.
