How to change the oil on a BMW X3

Model: BMW X3 MK 2, F25 - Years 2010-2017

Warm up the engine: run the engine of your BMW X3 for about 10 minutes to get the oil flowing. Lift the car: place the car on four jack stands to access the engine compartment. Oil drainage: place a drainage pan under the oil drain plug. Remove the drain plug and let the old oil drain completely into the pan. Once all the oil has drained, replace it with the same amount of new oil. It is recommended to use a synthetic 0w-20 four-stroke engine oil. Oil filter replacement: access the oil filter by removing the engine compartment cover and the cover to the right of the vehicle. The oil filter is located in the area near the windshield and should be unscrewed with a 27 mm socket wrench. Remove the old oil filter and replace it with a new one.
