How to replace the engine oil and oil filter of the BMW X5 35D

In this guide we will see step by step instructions on how to perform the regular maintenance oil change of the BMW X5 35D engine. First of all, lift the car and unscrew the oil drain plug found under the engine, letting the oil drain into a container for about ten minutes; then we remove the oil filter, using the appropriate wrench to unscrew the cartridge, as shown in the video. At this point, install the new oil filter, screwing by hand and tightening gently, finally topping up with the new engine oil!
