Today we will independently replace the oil filter and engine oil of the BMW 1 Series model E87. To perform the oil replacement, we must pour the pre-change liquid into the tank and let the agent act for 5 minutes. When the oil is cold, we proceed with the replacement.

We lift the vehicle on stands and place a container under the oil pan. We unscrew the oil pan nut and let the oil drain into the container; at the end we close the nut of the oil pan. We remove the oil filter box, disconnecting the connector and removing the flange.

We replace the filter and gasket before mounting the box. We bring the vehicle back to the ground and pour the new engine oil into the tank.

How to Reset the Tyre Pressure Warning Light on a Kia Rio?

The tyre pressure warning light displayed on the instrument cluster of the Kia Rio can be reset by inflating the tyres until they reach the recommended pressure value: this value is indicated on the sticker affixed to the driver's door pillar. Once all tyres have been inflated to the recommended pressure, turn on the ignition to check that the light has disappeared: if it is still present, it may be necessary to drive for a few miles, allowing the sensors to work and thus turning off the light.
