This guide will show you how to perform routine maintenance by replacing the engine oil and oil filter on the BMW X3. First, lift the vehicle and remove the plastic panel protecting the engine by unscrewing all the fastening screws; then, unscrew the oil drain bolt located under the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes, as shown in the video. Next, unscrew the oil filter cartridge and replace it with a new one (tightening gently); finally, pour in the appropriate oil for your engine!
