In this tutorial we can see how to replace the engine oil and the related filter in the BMW X3, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be sufficiently cold, then we open the hood and lift the front side of the vehicle. We then locate the drainage hole bolt, unscrew it with a 17mm socket wrench and let all the oil in the system drain out. At this point, all that's left to do is unscrew the filter housing, insert the replacement, reassemble everything and pour in the new oil through the appropriate hole.
