In this tutorial we can see how to replace the motor oil in the BMW X3, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, we wait for the engine to be sufficiently cold, then we open the hood and unscrew the filling cap. We then lift the vehicle, locate the drain hole bolt, unscrew it using a 17mm socket wrench and let all the oil in the system drain out. At this point we can remove the filter housing using the appropriate wrench, insert the replacement, reassemble everything and pour in the new oil through the appropriate hole.
