In this tutorial, you will see how to change the engine oil in a BMW X3, a very simple operation. First, wait for the engine to cool down.

Then, go underneath the vehicle, remove the circular cover, and loosen the drain plug bolt. Once all the old oil has drained out, remove the oil pan, take off the oil filter housing, and install the replacement along with a new gasket.

At this point, tighten the lower bolt, open the upper cap, and add the necessary amount of oil to reach the ideal level.
