Do you want to replace the gear knob on your BMW Z Series? Let's see how to proceed with the replacement: to begin with, take the knob and position it vertically, then unscrew the tiny screw with a special key. Let's remove it from the shift rod and disconnect the frame of the leather boot (if to be replaced) with a plastic lever. To carry out the assembly: mount the new leather cap with the clips (if disassembled), then take the new knob and insert it into the rod on the central tunnel until it is tightened with the screw. Finally, we test the correct assembly of the knob with the movement of the rod on the central tunnel.
