Shifter Knob Replacement on BMW Z4

Today, you will perform a very simple maintenance task: replacing the shifter knob on a BMW Z4. This procedure is particularly easy because, to remove the original knob, you just need to pull it upwards. This will be enough (with a bit of force) to detach the knob from the lever's cut attachment. Similarly, install the new knob by pressing it down with your hand. However, often, non-original parts have a small screw at the base of the knob that you will need to tighten with an Allen wrench. Ensure that the new piece does not move.
