How do you replace the damaged leather interior door handle on a BMW X5? Use a pry tool to remove the plastic cover above the interior handle, then unscrew the fastening screws inside it with a screwdriver. After removing all the fastening screws for the door opening handle, take it off the panel (as shown in the video). Install the new handle into the door panel and prepare to reassemble all the previously removed parts (screws and handle cover). Test the proper installation of the handle before putting on the trim.
