Is the door handle on your BMW X5 due for replacement? Here’s how to remove it. Remove the door panel (unscrew all the retaining screws). Peel back the adhesive cover to access the door opening handle; remove the door handle, unscrew the retaining screws of the cylinder, then the screws of the handle.

Install the new handle onto the door sheet metal and prepare to reassemble all the previously removed parts. Close the door with the adhesive panel, then install the plastic cover panel along with the retaining screws.
