Remove the EGR Valve on BMW X3

Model: BMW X3 MK 1, E83 - Years 2003-2010
Part: EGR valve

How to remove the EGR valve on BMW X3? Lift the hood and secure it. Then, use a screwdriver to remove the locking pins of the ventilation pipe and take off the engine soundproofing panel. Start unscrewing the bolts of the EGR valve (if you encounter issues: lift the car with a jack and remove the part from underneath). Once the part is detached from its seat, unscrew the screws on it using a screwdriver. Begin cleaning the valve with a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts; use a brush to assist in the process. Reassemble everything after cleaning.

How to Remove the Front Brake Pads on a Chrysler PT Cruiser

To remove the front brake pads on a Chrysler PT Cruiser, position the car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height. Unscrew the pins using a socket wrench or air drill and remove the wheel. Then, use a screwdriver to detach the brake pads. Next, remove the caliper bracket and unscrew the pins on the brake disc (using a Torx screwdriver). Pull the disc towards you to slide it off the hub. Install the new brake disc with all associated pins, secure the caliper bracket to the disc and the pads, then mount the brake caliper, ensuring all pins are tightened properly. Before mounting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper and tighten the pin.
