Alternatively, we can apply a transparent smoked red film (3M) after simply cleaning the lens with isopropyl alcohol (which also has the advantage of being 100% reversible). As for the rear shelf, marine plywood is definitely the best choice, and the cardboard template method is perfect. We check the hole for the spare tire, ensuring that the new shelf rests properly on its raised edge. The best option is to cover the wood with carpet.
