How to Replace the Glow Plugs in Your BMW X3

Do you want to change the glow plugs in your BMW X3 and don't know how? Let's see how to proceed with the disassembly. Pull the hood release lever located on the lower left of the dashboard and lift the hood, securing it. Remove the soundproofing cover from the engine, and also disassemble the air box if necessary.

Grasp the coil with your hands and twist it until it comes out of the cylinder head. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the glow plugs.

Take the new glow plug and insert it into the cylinder head using the socket wrench. Finally, reinstall the plastic cover over the cylinder head.
