How to reset the service light in a BMW X1

In this video tutorial, you can see the steps to reset the service light in a BMW X1 vehicle. Get in the car, press the start/stop button, and let the instrument panel turn on without starting the engine. At this point, press and hold the reset button located at the base of the odometer (on the left side of the dashboard); keep the reset button pressed for about ten seconds until the service menu appears on the display. Navigate through the maintenance menu options and select the "engine oil" option; press and hold the reset button again for a couple of seconds, and a confirmation message will appear; release and press again to confirm. Wait for the reset to complete, and then turn off and on the ignition to check the result.
