How to remove and replace the door panel of a BMW 5 Series? Use a pry tool to remove the plastic trim above the door panel. Then, unscrew the fastening screws located inside the panel with a screwdriver. Remove the panel (disconnect the power connectors and the opening cable) and the adhesive cover (if you need to remove the window regulator motor). Install the new door panel and prepare to reassemble all the previously removed parts. Test the proper operation of all electrical systems present in the door panel.
