Remove the Door Panel on BMW 5 Series

Replacing the cover panel on a BMW 5 Series? Let's see how to remove it. Remove the trim piece at the top of the panel (as shown in the video), and unscrew the screws inside. Remove the internal door release lever. Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Pull the panel away from the door and disconnect it (unplug the wiring harness and the release cable). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door. Reinstall the panel onto the car door: reconnect the electrical connectors, screw in the screws, and install the release lever.
